My name is Kathryn Buckley.

I started out as an Avon Representative in 2001 as a personal shopper only selling to family and friends.  In my last few jobs, the word spread that I was an Avon representative and quickly my customer base grew as well as the "word of mouth" outside the work place.

Since I have been in Avon, I have made my way up the ladder as a  Certified Beauty Advisor, a Unit Leader (July 2008) and just recenlty, I made President's Club (June 2008)and again this year (2009)!. Currently, as of June 2008, I made third place in our #2189 district for increase of sales between 2007-2008!   

Besides Avon, I also work a full time job for a major health insurance company in the Capital District as well as being a mother of a teenage boy, which in itself is challenging.

I do the Avon part time but one day would like to consider it my full time career. Lately, I have progressed in the Leadership role and have started my own downline of Representatives underneath me.  Recently, as of March 2009, I have two representatives underneath me who are working on their leadership roles - one just made President's Club and is already Unit Leader. The other girl, is working on acheiving her Unit Leader status as well.

I can always count on the Bug Guard repellents & sunscreens every summer for my vacations and even the outdoors! I take it with me when I go hiking, to the beach, golfing, swimming, bbqing, fishing, boating, jogging, etc.  You name it I have one can or pump with me everywhere I go.  I always have it in my car or my take a long bag!

Becoming An Representative

I was always buying every order and wondered how much would I be saving if I was an Avon Representative?  I work full time, have a family and want extra income for myself.  I have my family, relatives, co-workers, friends, customers at Curves, my daughter's dance group, son's soccer team that are buying from me.! I never imagined how many customers I picked up at one time! And only to believe the start up costs only $10 bucks!!!  I am having so much fun going to the meetings and events!

Mailing List

I live kinda far from Kathryn and sometimes I do not see her on a daily basis. So how do I get a brochure from her?  She has me on her mailing list and I get a brochure sent to me through the mail every two weeks.  I can either call her or submit my order online and have the products delivered to my door!
